QuickScan PDF Viewer ("the app") lets you scan pages with your device camera and view PDF documents. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and your choices.

2. Information the app collects

Camera images (on-device)

  • When you capture pages, the photos are processed locally on your device and saved as image files or PDFs.
  • The app does not automatically upload these images or PDFs to any server controlled by the developer.

Files you open

  • When you browse and open PDFs, the app reads those files from your device storage only to display them.
  • The paths to recently opened PDFs may be stored locally on your device to show a “Recent PDFs” list.

Local preferences

  • The app may store simple settings on your device (for example, theme or recent files) using local storage mechanisms (such as SharedPreferences).

Advertising data

  • The app uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display ads.
  • AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to provide and measure ads, in accordance with Google’s own privacy policies.

  • To display and manage PDFs and scanned pages on your device.
  • To remember recent files and basic settings for a better user experience.
  • To display ads and help keep the app free to use.

All data used by the app for these purposes is either:

QuickScan PDF Viewer is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can delete it where possible.

  • PDFs and images you create or open stay on your device until you delete them.
  • Recent file entries and settings are stored locally and can be cleared by uninstalling the app or deleting the app’s data from your device settings.
  • Any ad‑related data is handled and retained by Google/AdMob according to their own policies.

  • You can delete PDFs and images generated by the app at any time using your device’s file manager.
  • You can clear app data from your device settings to remove recent files and preferences.
  • You can limit ad personalization via your Google account or device ad settings.
