QuickScan PDF Viewer – Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading or using QuickScan PDF Viewer ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

2. License

  • You are granted a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to install and use the app on your Android device for personal, non‑commercial use (unless otherwise allowed by the Play Store’s business policies).
  • You may not reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or redistribute the app except as permitted by applicable law.

3. Use of the app

You agree not to use the app:

  • in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations;
  • to scan, store, or distribute content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes third‑party rights;
  • to attempt to interfere with the normal operation of the app or its services (including ads).

You are solely responsible for the PDFs and content you create, store, or share using the app.

4. Advertising

The app displays banner and interstitial ads via Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). By using the app, you acknowledge that:

  • ads may be shown during normal use, for example on the home screen and during camera/PDF flows;
  • ad content is provided by third parties and is not controlled by the app developer.

Ad display will follow the AdMob Program Policies, but the developer is not responsible for third‑party ad content.

5. No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • fitness for a particular purpose;
  • reliability, availability, or accuracy;
  • that the app will be error‑free or uninterrupted.

You use the app at your own risk.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for any:

  • loss of data, documents, or files;
  • indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages;
  • damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the app is to stop using it and uninstall it from your device.

7. Intellectual property

All trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property related to the app remain the property of their respective owners. You receive no ownership rights in the app or any associated content.

8. Changes to the app or terms

The developer may update the app or these Terms at any time, for example to add features, fix bugs, or comply with policy changes. Continued use of the app after such changes means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Termination

The developer may suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time if you violate these Terms or if the app is discontinued. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.

10. Governing law

These Terms may be governed by the laws of the country or region where the developer is based, unless otherwise required by local consumer protection laws.
